Dudley’s is an independent café-restaurant in Walthamstow, East London. We are a proud neighbourhood spot serving speciality coffee and seasonal brunch. We have indoor and outdoor spaces that are popular hangout spots for our locals. In the summer we do yoga classes. Bi-annually, we throw music events.
We are looking for a Head Barista who will be responsible for delivering our day to day coffee offering to the highest standard (speciality coffee barista experience is essential).
The candidate should be confident in their coffee knowledge, comfortable making coffee under pressure and be able to maintain standards when it gets busy. You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the coffee machine and grinders.
We’re looking for someone who likes to be customer facing and enjoys building relationships with customers and the local community. You will be encouraged to bring creative and innovative ideas to support the ongoing development of our coffee offering whilst maintaining a close relationship with our coffee roaster.
Our pop-up series called ‘On Rotate’ brings together DJs and chefs for a day party full of good vibes, amazing food and soulful music. You’d be an integral part of its programming – a part of the job that allows your creativity to flourish and an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy within the community.
