Cafe Manager

Hey! We’re SEESAW, a creative co-working, events space and café - and we’re on the lookout for an experienced Café Manager to oversee all day-to-day operations in the café.

We’re looking for someone with a strong hospitality background and a passion for speciality coffee to drive the café forward, and ensure a great customer experience.

You should:

• Be super competent in all things coffee, and confident taking the lead in store
• Have your finger on the pulse, and be in the know about what’s happening in the industry
• Strive for high coffee standards, and know how to achieve them by cupping, dialling in and brewing correctly
• Have strong team leadership skills and lead by example
• Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment

You should have proven management experience, strong computer skills (ideally with good knowledge of Google Workspace), and a solid understanding of costing and monitoring financials.

You’ll be taking the lead on all daily tasks, such as:

• Liaising with suppliers and maintaining great relationships
• Stock ordering, stock management and controlling costs
• Admin, including emailing
• EHO and Food Safety Compliance
• Developing and implementing strategies to drive engagement and boost sales – Managing bookings and events in the cafe
• Basic rota management
• POS maintenance and costing Social media management

You’ll be working 40 hours each week, and we’re open Monday - Friday / 8.30am - 4pm, so you’ll have a great work/life balance (no weekends!!)
