We’re looking for a professional barista who’s not only great with coffee but also genuinely enjoys being around children and families. This is a key front-of-house role in our unique café space that combines quality coffee with a playful, community-friendly atmosphere.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Preparing excellent coffee and serving customers with a smile
Exceptionally tidy and well-organised, with strong attention to detail
Overseeing the café floor and play area to ensure smooth daily operations
Starting and ending structured play sessions on time
Keeping the play space safe, tidy, and under control
Engaging diplomatically with parents and children to ensure rules are respected
Creating a welcoming, respectful environment for all our guests
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced barista (manual espresso machine essential)
Warm, friendly, and confident communicator
Comfortable around children and able to handle occasional chaos with calm and kindness
Diplomatic and assertive – able to set boundaries and maintain a peaceful environment
Reliable, organised, and a team player
