Are you unemployed, looking for high-quality training and career guidance to enter the coffee and hospitality industry? Look no further. We are running a FREE coffee skills courses with barista training, work readiness skills, and job search support for anyone who meets the below eligibility criteria. This course will be run in partnership with De’Longhi so it is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the wider coffee industry and to meet some fascinating industry people.
Summary of the course###
- 9 weeks of part-time coffee training in our state of the art Kings Cross Academy
- 4 weeks of work placements (part-time, 2 days per week) with one day back in training each week during this period
- Internationally recognised Foundation Barista qualification from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA)
- Introduction to career options in specialty coffee
- Technical coffee skills, customer service and interpersonal skills development
- Industry focused CV development

Who can apply? (must meet all eligibility)###
- Aged 19+
- Resident of London
- Unemployed
- Not in any other training or education
- Actively looking for work
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Must have been in the UK for at least 3 years
- Have good conversational and written English comprehension skills
- Be comfortable with basic maths, such as addition, subtraction, and ratios
