ARE YOU EXTRACT’S NEW LOGISTICS COORDINATOR?

Extract Coffee Roasters is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Bristol. This is a full-time position based in our fulfilment centre in Avonmouth, Bristol.

If you are passionate about coffee and are looking for an active and dynamic role, we want to hear from you.

More About the Logistics Coordinator role

Working daily in our fulfilment centre, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supervising goods inwards and outwards, checking all goods received for damages and daily van deliveries.

Logistics Coordinator is a physical role. Warehouse tasks include stacking goods into allocated locations for storage and picking while ensuring stock rotation of age-sensitive food products using FIFO (First In First Out) system.

Part of this role includes being on the road, driving between our two Bristol sites (Avonmouth and St Werburghs) and carrying out daily local van deliveries in and around the Bristol area.

You will be part of a small team, working closely with other departments in Extract Coffee Roasters. This means strong interpersonal skills are a must.

We pride ourselves on providing an excellent customer experience at all levels across the business, so you should have a customer-first approach when preparing and dispatching customer orders.

Skill and Experience we are looking for in a Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator role is fast-paced and varied. We need someone who can stay calm in a busy environment and work through problems logically and methodically.

We are looking for a brilliant communicator who is organised, able to follow processes and works to strict daily deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and professional with a couple of years of warehouse experience. A forklift license is preferable, but we will provide forklift training for the right candidate.

Driving is essential for this role, so you need a full UK clean driving license.

We use several software systems and platforms, including Netsuite (ERP), courier tracking and collections software. Full training will be given for these platforms. You should have good computer and administrative skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly and confidently.

Health and Safety is a top priority in the warehouse and the roastery. Part of your role will be contributing to Risk Assessments and SOP’s for the site and all equipment. We expect you to work safely and responsibly with care for the team around you.
