We are looking for a super friendly barista to join our team and run our coffee bike outside Bermondsey tube station, Monday-Friday from 7am-11am (shift starts 6.15am and ends 11.45am). This might be 3 days, 4 days or 5 days per week, depending on your availability.
You will be working independently on our coffee trike, therefore we are looking for someone who is comfortable working alone and working outside.
Our main focus is coffee, although we also serve a small range of pastries too.
We’re looking for someone who is truly passionate about specialty coffee - being a roastery as well as a coffee shop, this is essential. You should care about every cup of coffee and every customer :-)
Who we’re looking for: * Coffee enthusiast: you need to really love coffee and be passionate about the specialty coffee scene * Early riser: shifts start at 6.15am and end at 11.45am. So you get the afternoon free! * Bike confident: the bike is currently kept in a local garage overnight so there is a small amount of cycling involved. The bike is big, but it is electric. * Hardy: you’ll be outside in the weather, albeit under a small cover, so you need to like the outdoors * Super friendly: our customers are so important to us, we treat them all with kindness and make chatty conversation
What you can expect: * London Living Wage min. salary * Free hot drinks * Cost price purchases on full range of products in our shop * Possibility to extend hours, take the bike to markets, and grow within our team
