Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the coffee shop, food prep & service from opening to closing. Maintain impeccable standards for cleanliness, presentation, and customer service.
People Management: Lead, train, and develop a diverse team of baristas, food prep assistants, and all those in between! Promote a culture of creativity, accountability, inclusivity and passion for excellence. All the time, promoting progress, fostering passion and pushing our people!
Customer Experience: Drive a customer-first approach, ensuring that every customer receives exceptional service. Handle customer feedback and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of the shop, including budgeting, analysing P&Ls, cost control, and achieving sales targets. Monitor expenses and profitability, and make data-driven decisions to improve financial performance. Reporting financials to HO each fortnight and forecasting each month and setting own targets each quarter.
Product Quality & Innovation: Work closely with the bakery and coffee teams in Mouse Tail, to maintain high-quality product offerings. Giving feedback and helping them be the best they can be!
Inventory & Supply Chain: Ordering responsibility for all items. Manage inventory levels and variances to ensure the consistent availability of key ingredients and products.
Marketing & Community Engagement: Partner with the marketing team to develop in-store promotions, events, and collaborations that reflect the creative essence of our brand. Build strong relationships with local communities and foster a loyal customer base.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are strictly followed and that all team members are trained on compliance standards.
